Pastor Michael A. Smith is senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is the author of several other books, Bible studies, and articles on Christian ethics. Pastor Smith earned his M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rabbi Rami Shapiro is an award-winning storyteller, poet, and popular teacher on the Jewish spiritual tradition. He is the director of the One River Foundation, and author of Hasidic Tales: Annotated and Explained, The Hebrew Prophets: Annotated and Explained, Open Secrets, and many other books. He is a graduate of Hebrew Union College and earned his Ph.D. from Union Graduate School. He also lives with his family in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
